BLOCKING

Inspired by HiFight's FOOTSIES, BLOCKING is a game that isolates a different facet of fighting game gameplay: defense in the corner. Each round of BLOCKING begins with one player in the corner, initially unable to attack. As the defender, escape the corner by defending against your opponent's attacks and finding a window to counter. As the attacker, earn points by getting through your opponent's defenses.

This game is for two players! One or more gamepad controllers are required.

Keyboard controls:

Movement:  WASD

Blocking: hold A or D away from your opponent.

Light Attack: G

Medium Attack: H

Heavy Attack: J

Throw: K

Gamepad controls:

Movement: D-pad

Blocking: hold left or right on the D-pad away from your opponent.

Light Attack: West face button

Medium Attack: North face button

Heavy Attack: East face button

Throw: South face button
